Dylan Travers is in his senior year at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and will be graduating in June of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Protection and Safety. In his junior year he became actively involved in the National Association of Environmental Managers student chapter on campus. At the event held on the MMA campus this past May, Dylan presented on his internship experiences, which have included working in the Public Health and Environmental Programs Department of Prestige Cruise Holdings in Miami, Florida as well as the Environmental Health Safety & Security Department of John Crane Inc. in Rhode Island. Dylan has been the Head Writing Tutor for the Academy's student tutoring program since his sophomore year. He intends to pursue a career in corporate Environmental Health and Safety upon graduation.
