James Hannaford, 1st Class Cadet; Massachusetts Maritime Academy
James Hannaford is currently a senior at Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he majors in Marine Safety and Environmental Protection. While attending the Academy, he established the first student chapter of the National Association of Environmental Managers and has hosted a NAEM regional conference as part of NAEM's Emerging Leader Program. In addition, James has worked as the Northeast Region Environmental Intern for Exelon Power for the past two summers and as the Environmental and Safety Intern for Northeast Ship Repair. Finally, he is currently on track to graduate as the valedictorian of his class in June 2014 and wants to pursue a career as environmental specialist after graduation.
