Steve David, Manager of Air Strategy; The Mosaic Co.

As Senior Manager of Air Strategy for Mosaic Co., Steve has more than 30 years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance in all environmental media, including experience in environmental agency relations and negotiations at all levels of government; health and hazard risk assessment; and operations and business management. Steve has worked on major air, water, and waste matters in several states and has developed and led large teams of environmental professionals in both industry and consulting. He has developed and implemented facility and company-wide programs to ensure long-term compliance. He has successfully negotiated some of the most complex and innovative environmental permits in the U.S.  Prior to moving into the environmental field, Steve was a process engineer in the oil refining and chemical facility industry.  There he worked in all aspects of oil refining and transportation, chemical manufacturing, as well as aggregate industries.

Steve received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and has completed additional graduate studies in Business Administration at Indiana University.
