Michelle Garner-Janna is the Director of Corporate Health & Safety for Cummins Inc., a $17 billion, 46,000+ employee global power leader that designs, manufactures, sells and services diesel engines and related technology around the world. Cummins serves its customers through its network of 500 company-owned and independent distributor facilities and more than 5,200 dealer locations in over 190 countries and territories.

 

Mrs. Garner-Janna is an accomplished business executive with 18+ years experience leading HSE and other related Manufacturing functions.  In her current role, she develops and leads the global Health & Safety strategy for the organization.  She is a Certified Safety Professional as well as a Certified Professional Ergonomist. Mrs. Garner-Janna holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University as well as an Executive MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.  She is a professional member and past President of the West TN American Society of Safety Engineers and is active in community affairs by frequently volunteering her time.
