William Archer, Director Global Sustainability; S.C. Johnson & Son Inc.
Will Archer is Director - Global Sustainability for S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin. In this role, Will is responsible for providing global support for the development and implementation of environmental and sustainability policies, strategies and actions for the company.
A leading provider of innovative consumer products such as Windex®, Glade®, OFF!® and Ziploc®, SC Johnson is a fifth generation, family-owned company with a global workforce in more than 70 countries.
Will has worked at S.C. Johnson for more than 30 years, in various capacities, primarily leading the development of new products in categories as diverse as Air Care, and Home Cleaning. He was also one of the key contributors to the industry leading Ingredient Disclosure program which was introduced by S.C. Johnson in 2009.
Will has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry as well as a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry, both from the University Of Newcastle Upon Tyne, in the U.K. and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
